  • Helping them develop their astronomical skills and knowledge
  • Encouraging education about and public interest in astronomy

WHAT WE DO

Our Activities

Our club has a variety of indoor and outdoor activities on a regular basis to educate, entertain, and advocate around the subject of astronomy. Attend the ones that interest you. You can find more details about these activities in our Starry Nights 2022 brochure. For the safety of our members and guests, some meetings are currently remote or hybrid via Zoom. Check our home page for updates.

SOCIALIZE AND LEARN

Club Meetings

Monthly Club Meetings happen every First Wednesday at 6:30 PM where we socialize and hear from invited Club Meeting Speakers, who are talented astronomers,  researchers, club members, and hobbyists about their astronomy related work and projects. We meet at the Prescott Public Library at 215 E. Goodwin Street. Everyone is welcome!

HEAR FROM THE EXPERTS

Third Thursday Talks

Third Thursday Star Talks are held each month (times vary) at the Prescott Public Library Founders Suite. Knowledgeable speakers from regional organizations, who are often members of local community as well, present on subjects relevant to astronomy. The public is invited to attend.
